Kari’s Dream Dollhouse

I had an idea one day to sketch out the dollhouse of my dreams. So one Saturday morning, I woke up, made a cup of coffee, and grab my iPad and opened ProCreate, and just started sketching. The first one (sideways picture)was not very bold or clean so after I got to where I could see the vision in my head kn the ipad, I cleaned it up. These are those pictures.

Right now I am trying to plan out each room and where I want to use room dividers. Also, I started painting in preparation of assembly. I also spent some time figuring out Tinkercad for my 3D printer and created a porch swing! First attempt was the white, then I fixed the issues and printed it in brown. Still didn’t match my aesthetic so I printed in black.

Gluing and taping the left side add on to my dollhouse. Usually, folks start with the main house but there is a reason why I didn’t do that. Stay tuned..it will be revealed in the final result.

This whole process involves a bunch of prep, paint, build, and repeat. And then changing my mind just to restart the process. 🤣🤣. Right now I am still painting and picking out colors for the interior and wallpaper!
